Stock 'Em Up!

Throw on the Jingle Bell Rock and get wrapping! Wait, what's that you say?  You don't have your Christmas shopping finished?  Luckily, I am here with some quick stocking stuffers that will surely bring cheer to all who receive them.

For your "au naturale" friends, give the gift of organic honey-peppermint lip balm and an organic facial peel–they will most certainly thank you (as will their skin).  For the homemaker, a nice box of LadurĂ©e macaroons, a true taste of Paris, and a pretty-yet-rustic candle will be the perfect combo.  For the fashionistas that seem to be so hard to buy for, stick with a simple pair of gold studs and a bottle of Essie nailpolish, just be sure to look up the latest collection (Cocktail Bling) to really knock her socks off!  And for all the others that are pickier beyond belief, a luxurious italian pen paired with a gold agenda will send them into the new year with class and sophistication (not to mention it will help immensely in planning the new-years-workout-resolution-that-seems-so-darn-impossible-to-keep).

Kate

'Tis the season to glam it up with Kate!  Love her chocolate bar clutch and glitzy cocktail rings!  May need to get some of her supercalifragalipstick (best lipstick name ever!) for the wedding day!

PS only a few short weeks until we get hitched!  YAY!

Fourth

Happy Birthday, USA!  It's time to whip out the pure Americana gear (aka Converse All Stars) and rock out in daisy dukes and plenty of stars & stripes!  Here are just a few pieces of iconic American style:

1.  Gingham Shirt from Old Navy
2.  Red Nail Polish by Revlon
3.  Casio Watch from American Apparel
4.  Tote from  EcoStudioNYC
5.  White Sneakers by Converse
6.  Jean Shorts by H&M
7.  Swimsuit from Topshop

PS: Did you know that Revlon was started by three (ahem) men that formulated a new type of long-lasting nail polish during the Depression?  Eventually, Revlon supplied all of the U.S. Army with makeup and was awarded the Army-Navy "Excellence" award!  Now THAT is patriotism!

Color of the Week

This has been a long time in coming!  Color of the Week: NUDE!  Not only is it super classy, but also free-spirited (see #2 above).  I know some of you may be thinking, "Nude washes me out"...Newflash, the color does NOT wash you out, as long as you get the right shade.  Lean towards the pinks and peaches if you are ivory-fair, while all of you (lucky) olive toned people can wear about any shade of this. Enjoy!
